I went to try the most famouse dish in Beijing - the Peking Duck. It tastes incredibly good! I loved it!

More about the place I went...

"The best place to eat in Beijing is open 24 hours a day. It is known in Chinese as Guijie, which is known to foreigners as "Ghost Street".

A great restaurant that serves home-style cooking is Huajia Yiyuan.

It is set in a quaint old-styled Chinese courtyard. This type of housing has been mostly replaced by skyscrapers and apartment buildings in the city.

The signature dish is Peking duck.

The combination of crispy skin with lean duck meat wrapped with veggies and a seafood sauce in a rice tortilla is worth a try. "

Childhood

xxx

I wanted to catch a butterfly

But it flew away

No matter how hard I tried

No playful cloud seemed to stay

Now I know how it feels

Now I know how it hurts

Today was the day

When my childhood passed away

Shanghai Cooperation Organization

Just by complete accident I run into the Shanghai Cooperation Organization’s building in Beijing today. When I was trying to take this picture some guard was screaming on me.

Anyway, this Organization is quite interesting and worrying at the same time.

It was founded in 2001; and now has 6 members (China, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan). It is believed that the organization might be an attempt to create a counterbalance to the Western military structures.
